Amid COVID-19 outbreak, two (2) died of diarrhea and forty-four (44) other admitted in the hospital.

According to the Aksyon Radyo Bacolod Facebook Page, all victims had the same common of diarrhea symptoms causing the untimely death of the two victims.

According to Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Health Minister Saffrulah Dipatuan they have already sent health representative to Bongo Island to investigate the cause of the massive diarrhea infection in the said place.

Report also said that health authorities are also to examine the water source in the area affected of the said calamity.

Dipatuan also said that they cannot declare the incident as the “cholera outbreak” until further investigation result comes out.

Report also noted that open well or (bubon) is the common source of water used of the residents in the area.
