The name of the plant owner is Caelie Wilkes. She felt devastated upon learning that the plant she took care for almost 2 years was just a plastic.

She shared her story after she decided to re-pot her “beautiful succulent”.  She is so proud of her plant that she even posted,” It was full, beautiful coloring, just an overall perfect plant.”

She used to put it in the kitchen window. She was so possessive and overprotective about the plant that she would not let anybody else water the plant.

“I had a watering plan for it, if someone else tried to water my succulent I would get so defensive because I just wanted to keep good care of it. I absolutely loved my succulent”.

Until she decided to change the pot, “I found the cutest vase, that suited it perfectly,” but she was shocked as she pulled the plant in the container, She discovered that the plant she was takes to care for almost 2 years was just made of plastic.

She said, “I go to pull it from the original plastic container it was purchased with to learn this plant was FAKE. I put so much love into this plant! I washed it’s leaves. Tried my hardest to keep it looking it’s best, and it’s completely plastic!”

“How did I not know this. I pull it from the container it’s sitting on Styrofoam with sand glued to the top! I feel like these last two years have been a lie,”

The post went viral on social media and gathered various reactions. It has 5,300 likes on Facebook.
