#WalangPasok: Classes Suspension on March 13, 2020, Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Several Local Government Units (LGUs) announces class and works suspensions as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. As of March 13, 2020, the latest update of Coronavirus Worldwide, more than 134,327 people have been infected and over 4,969 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 68,898 recovered from the epidemic disease.

Metro Manila

  • Classes in all levels from Tuesday, March 10, to Saturday, March 14. Earlier announcements:
  • The class suspension for Metro Manila is extended until April 12

Cavite

  • Caloocan City – all levels, public and private
  • Las Piñas – all levels, public and private
  • Makati City –  all levels, public and private
  • Malabon –  all levels, public and private
  • Mandaluyong City – all levels, public and private
  • Manila City – all levels, public and private
  • Marikina City – – all levels, public and private
  • Muntinlupa City – all levels, public and private
  • Navotas – all levels, public and private
  • Parañaque City – all levels, public and private
  • Pasay City – all levels, public and private
  • Pasig – all levels, public and private
  • Quezon City – all levels, public and private
  • San Juan City – all levels, public and private
  • Taguig City – all levels, public and private
  • Valenzuela City – all levels, public and private

Central Luzon

  • Bulacan Province – all levels, public and private (March 11 to 14)
  • Capaz, Tarlac – all levels, public and private (No Classes until Saturday, March 14)

In the reports of ABS-CBN, the department of health records new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number to 52. As of today, there 3 patient dies due to Coronavirus disease (Covid-19), according to the Department of Health. DOH reports the deaths of three (3) confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines: PH6, PH5, and PH37.
