UAAP Season 82 Games on March 10 to 14, 2020 Are Suspended due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases in Metro Manila

The UAAP Season 82 President Emmanuel T. Fernandez and UAAP Executive Director Rebo Saguisag announces the suspensions of all Games on March 10 to 14, 2020 due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Metro Manila. As of (March 10, 2020), The President of the Philippines has declared a State of Public Health Emergency and has ordered the suspension of classes at ALL levels in Metro Manila until March 14, 2020.

More importantly, the President stated that “students (are) to be confined in their homes and will continue to study.” All UAAP events scheduled until March 14, 2020, are hereby suspended.

Recently, “Twenty-four in all as of the last count,” Duterte said in a press conference in Malacañang.

As of March 10, 2020, more than 114,223 people have been infected and over 4,005 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, which has reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 62,834 recovered from the epidemic disease.
