The Philippines Now has 32 More New Cases of COVID-19; Total at 262; One Patient died

The Department of Health DOH said on Saturday that there are now 32 more new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) that have been confirmed in the Philippines, which makes the total confirmed cases into 262. 

Unfortunately, one COVID-19-positive patient died, while five others recovered.

The total death toll due to COVID-19 in the country is 19 as of Saturday.

So far there are 13 patients who have recovered from the disease.

DOH said on Friday that 18 have died of the virus while 8 have recovered. 

Also, the health department said on Saturday that it would speed up for the testing for the virus as more laboratories were coming online.

The government has also designated three state hospitals for COVID-19 patients. Private facilities were getting overwhelmed with the diagnosis with the virus and to those who were showing symptoms.
