“COVID-19 continues to infect people in every corner of the world including here in the Philippines. There are 196, 979 confirmed cases globally and 7,902 people have died. In the Philippines, 187 people are infected with the disease.
Today, we received word that there is one confirmed case of the coronavirus at Worldwide Corporate Center along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong where CNN Philippines is located.
As a result, the management of Worldwide Corportate Center will disinfect the premises as soon as possible.
That means we will be off the air for at least 24 hours,” the advisory wrote.
CNN News media is the first media company in the country who honestly made confession of their personnel who been infected of the coronavirus. The certain action taken by the CNN News of temporary suspension or “off-air” for a while is the best move to help government fight against COVID-19.
