Binalbagan has Padlocked Bongbongs for failure to comply with the Social Distancing Guidelines

The local government of Binalbagan padlocked the local store of Bongbongs Pasalubong Center due to a failure to comply with the social distancing guidelines set by the government to contain Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). All establishments should observe social distancing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Ldrrmo Binalbagan stated that people are in a hurry to avail promo 50% off from Bongbongs stores. “Other establishments will need to implement an executive order on precautionary measures to monitor their operations. It is true for our own country, family and community.”

President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision to impose an enhanced community quarantine on Luzon, Malacañang said Monday (March 16, 2020). DOH recorded COVID-19 has infected 217 people in the Philippines, with 17 deaths and 8 recovered.

Globally, over 227,952 have been infected and nearly 9,312 have died because of the viral disease that was first detected in Hubei, China.

Over 85,985, have recovered from the deadly disease.
