The Philippine government is allocating 200-billion pesos to support low-income families who are affected of the crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic as the country is under the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ).
According to the report published by the Philippine Star, the target beneficiaries are the low income households affected by the ECQ which include the following:
- Senior Citizens
- PWDS
- Pregnant women
- Solo parents
- Overseas Filipinos in distress
- Indigenous peoples
- Homeless citizens
- Farmers
- Fishermen
- Self-employed
- Informal settlers
- Employees affected by the “No Work, No Pay” Policy (PUV Drivers, House Helpers, Construction Workers, Etc.)
Lone District House Representative Hon. Greg Gasataya posted a detailed information for the people of Bacolod but the same guidelines apply to all beneficiaries all over the Philippines.
