The first video of Pastor Christopher Gayoba of “River of Life” ministry in Brgy. Tabao Bagumbayan, Valladolid, Negors Occidental shows how he trampled and destroyed the statue of Sto. Niñon prompting Catholic believers in the said place as well as netizens to react and condemned the wrong doing he has done.
Recently, Pastor Gayoba appeared again in his second video where he apologizes to all affected concerned person especially Catholic believers and Aglipayan who have reacted against his wrong doing.
In this video, he said sorry with all his heart and ask forgiveness from all offended parties.
It is a common understanding in our time, that there are hot tempered and impatient young generation that react and take action without thinking the possible outcome just like this pastor with his wrong action. Granting that even if he is correct with his belief in a Biblical basis, but it is still wrong to destroy the Sto. Niño from which Catholic believers believed that it something of important matter of beliefs as they believed it is a representative of their faith to God.
Knowing that once you do something against it, you definitely pay the consequences like what he did in his second video apologizing the offended people in order to clear himself from his wrongdoing.
