“PiLing Lucky” is a segment of “It’s Showtime” game has contestants picking among objects of the same kind, such as balls of different sizes, or traditionally seen in the same room, such as kitchenware or bathroom fixtures. During on “It’s Showtime” episode on February 27, 2020, the segment was marred with controversy and an alleged cheating accusation surfaced on social media after one of its major prizes was not in the options.

The comedian host Vice Ganda immediately reacted after having a hard time locating the “negosyo” package.

The management of the ABS-CBN program said: “Madlang people, humihingi ng paumanhin ang ‘It’s Showtime’ dahil nagkaroon ng pagkakamali ang produksyon sa jackpot round ng ‘PiLing Lucky’ kanina. Dahil dito, napagdesisyunan ng ‘Showtime’ management na ibigay sa ating player na si Ginalyn Canillo ang Negosyo Package,” it added.
