Willie Revillame has already finalized his plan to cancel his birthday celebration that supposed to be held next Monday, January 27, 2020 but decided to make his program Wowowin live to help evacuees affected by Taal Volcano eruption.

According to the GMA Entertainment news report, he is supposed to celebrate his birthday but he realizes why he should celebrate while there is a lot of Filipino evacuees from Taal Volcano eruption who are in need at this time.

On January 27, Wowowin will be giving 2 house and lot inside the studio, and outside of studio audience will be using YouTube channel life for greetings, then Willie Revillame will be answering by call and give the lucky person house and lot.

“Dapat birthday ko ‘yon celebration magbibigay akong dalwang house and lot sa loob ng studio, outside ng studio which ginamit namin ang YouTube para mag-greetings, kung sino ‘yong babati tatawagan ko para mabigyan ko ng house and lot,” Revillame told reporter of his initial plan.

“Pero nung pag gising ko nung nakikita ko na sa news sa 24 Oras bakit ako magce-celebrate ng maraming akong kababayan na naghihirap,” he continued.

“So sa January 27 po live ang Wowowin at gagawa ho kami ng paraan para makabigay ng tulong sa ating mga kababayan,” he said.

The birthday celebrant turns 59 this coming January 27 has already established coordination with government officials of Batangas, Cavite and Tagaytay including Congresswoman Vilma Santos, Congressman Bambol Tolentino and Tagaytay City Mayor Agnes Tolentino to ask for their support.

“Sabi ko may bibigay kaming tulong sa ating kababayan at siyempre kasama rin dito ang GMA Foundation,” he said.

Celebrity singers to perform during the live show of Wowowin on Monday, January 27, 2020 includes Rachelle Ann Go, Marcelito Pomoy and Gerphil Flores.

Revillame also noted that during the times of calamities and disasters, we the Filipinos should not forget to help one another and stand up again from where we came from.

“Alam mo ang buhay natin ay may kalamidad eh, may bagyo, may lindol may ganito, ang importante marunong kang tumayo, ang importante magtulong tulong tayo. ‘Eto ‘yong right time na magtulong tulong kasi marami tayong kababayan na hirap.” He said.
