Everyone agrees that Filipinos are naturally born happy. Even amid crisis we can always find ways to divert ones’ problem into laughter just like Taal evacuees who recently suffered discomfort as a result of Taal Volcano expulsion last Sunday, January 12, 2020 but they were able to bring laughter and enjoy to the victims.

According to the Facebook post of Joshua Capul from Renz Magno, Taal evacuees initiate to have fun in evacuation center to entertain and make people laugh from their discomfort situation by way organizing “Miss Gay.”

Every participants wear improvised dress and make up to make themselves presentable before the audience.

From there and then, the initiative of organizing Miss Gay becomes a stress reliever of Taal evacuees even if they don’t know what will happen in the aftermath of the crisis, yet people were cheering and happy of the show.

Winners will receive 1 gallon of drinking water and a pack of food.

Netizens express appreciation from being discomfort to make one happy.
