Bar Exam result of November 2019 will be out and available for viewing online on the expected month of April – May, 2020 according to the Supreme Court (SC).
Name of passers of the new Philippine Lawyers of the 2018 Bar Examination will be available here on this page and also including the list of overall Passers and the Topnotchers (Top 10), as well as some other important announcements to be published here.
According to the Supreme Court record, the overall number of applicants who intend to take the Bar Exam is 8,245 candidates. On the first Sunday, November 3, 2019 there were only 7,699 took the test. The next following Sunday, November 10, 2019 there was only 7,691.
Supreme Court is the only governing body allowed to administer the Bar Examination in the country with the examining officers headed by Associate Justice and Chairperson Hon. Estela A. Perlas Bernabe, Atty. Ma. Cristina B. Layusa stands as Deputy Clerk and Bar Confidant during the exam in four (4) consecutive Sundays dated 3, 10, & 24 on November 2019 held in the most popular school in the country, University of Santo Tomas (UST), España, Manila.

The type of examination given by the administration is full essay from which the examinees are required to answer in full essay writings within the scope of one (1) month duration exam time. The Bar Exam is considered the hardest examination ever taken in the country.
MECHANICS OF CHECKING
For the information of everyone, the checking of the Bar Exam is done manually by the Office of Confidant. Few days prior to the official announcement and publication of result the SC will be conducting a special “en banc” session to decode the Bar Exam results. The decoding process is done by way of opening sealed envelopes containing the names of successful examinees.
After this procedures, the SC will officially announce the list of passers names and posting them on the widescreen digital board available in the yard of the Supreme Court and the SC will be posting the list of passers on their official website. The same result will also be available for viewing on this page in alphabetical order.
The oath-taking will take place following after the official announcement and publication of successful examinees of the Bar Exam.
PASSING PERCENTAGE:
In order to enlist your name on the passers column of the Bar Exam 2019 every examinee must have general average of 75% and no lower grade of 50% in all other subject taken. In some other factor of passing the Bar Exam, the SC en banc may also doing some adjustments to the passing percentage.
As to recall, in 2012 the passing percentage during this year decreased to 70% while in some other year of 2013 and 2014 almost the same percentage adjusted only up to 73%.
