An old man rescued in Taal Island but choose not to leave home in spite of danger from Taal Volcano eruption as PHIVOLCS continues warning of alert Level IV until today.

Lolo Eusebio Cacao 68-year-old from Talisay Batangas said he lives Taal Island for a long time since his young age. He also said that he was able to witness Taal Volcano explosion on 1965. He was 15 years old at the time the volcano exploded. He also said many died during the time because it rains fire and happened during the evening.

Eusebio believes Taal Volcano won’t explode again in contrast to the statement of PHIVOLCS that Taal Volcano will explode anytime.

During the interview Lolo Eusebio, he was given a chance to call the attention of his children. He said he has children in Manila and in Japan. He was left alone like useless old dress.

“Marites, Maricar, saan man kayo naroroon, pumunta kayo dito’t dalawin naman ninyo ako. Naluluha ako sa ginagawa ninyo sa akin e, parang hindi ninyo ako magulang,” Eusebio said.

Lolo Eusebio did not ask help from them but he is requesting his children to visit him and bring food to eat. Even if he wanted to come to Manila but he said he has no money to spend for his transportation.

Meanwhile, our team learns that PHIVOLCS still continue warning alert Level IV of the Taal Volcano even if volcano activity down to moderate condition.
