Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and NDRRMC announce a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hits Manapla (Negros Occidental) on Monday, November 11, 2019 around 12:32:55 AM. The location of the 3.0 magnitude earthquake is 10.96N, 123.06E – 006 km S 88° W of Manapla (Negros Occidental).



Depth of Focus is 023 kilometers and the Origin is Tectonic.

According to source there is no casualties has been reported. People of Manapla (Negros Occidental). ) must aware to the aftershocks. If needed proceed to nearest evacuation centers.

According to PHILVOLCS, “We cannot predict when or where an earthquake or tsunami will happen. What we do is prepare earthquake scenarios of hazards and impacts to be used as a guide for mitigation, preparedness, and response.”
