Breaking news: Selling of Secondhand Cellphones will no longer allowed in Manila, according to Mayor Isko Moreno announced on Monday, October 7, 2019. The mayor announce an ultimatum to the mall owners, if caught allowing vendors to buy and sell stolen mobile phones in their establishments will be kick (72 hours) or face closure.

Mayor Isko Moreno told to reporters, for those who sell and buy stolen items can be charged with the Anti-Fencing Law (Presidential Decree No. 1612)

In Manila Public Information Office Page, “Isetann Mall sa Recto maaaring ipasara ni Manila City Mayor @IskoMoreno kung mapatunayan na nagkukubli ng mga vendor na nagbebenta ng nakaw na cellphone#AlertoManileno.”
