The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and NDRRMC announce a 3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Banate (Iloilo) on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 around 02:30:49 AM.

The location is 10.91°N, 122.90°E – 014 km S 41° E of Banate (Iloilo) and the Depth of Focus (KM) is 013 with the Origin “Tectonic.”

PHIVOLCS is the service institute of the DOST for monitoring and mitigation of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunami.
