Several Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines have suspended classes on Thursday, September 13, 2019 due to Tropical Depression “Marilyn.”

Tropical Depression “MARILYN” entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 9:30 AM, September 12, 2019.

Updated List of Class Suspension on provinces, towns and cities:

Cagayan Valley

  • Quirino
    • Aglipay – preschool to senior high school (public and private)
    • Diffun – all levels (public and private)
    • Saguday – all levels (public and private)

Ilocos Region

  • Pangasinan
    • San Quintin – preschool to elementary (public and private)

As of 10:00 AM, the center of Tropical Depression “MARILYN” was estimated based on all available data at 1,355 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (17.4 °N, 134.8 °E).

Its move Northwest at 25 kph and has a maximum sustained of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph.
