‘Akosi Dogie’ to pay P 750,000 and Jailed for up to six (6) Years for Posting One Piece: Stampede

The most viewed streamer in the Philippines, “Akosi Dogie” posting a video clip of the One Piece Stampede movie on her Facebook post. The video clip was allegedly taken at SM Cinema. Toei Animation, a Japanese animation studio that owns the long-running One Piece series, has decided to file a lawsuit against Dogie.

Dogie could pay P750, 000 and be jailed for up to six years.

The video clip she posted went viral and received 138,000 views on September 22, 2019.

Dogie defended her Facebook post: “Sa mga taong nagsasabi na pinirata ko yung One Piece Stampede! Yung pinost kong video yung nasa trailer yun! Naku po mga tao! Manood kasi muna ng trailer para malaman kung ano (ang) pinost ko!”

The post has been deleted but anime fans are still annoyed by what Dogie has done.

Violaters of the Anti-Camcording Act of 2010 are subject to a fine of PHP 50k – PHP 750k and jail time of 6 months to 6 years and 1 day.

Toei Animation and SM Cinema are not yet announced an official statement and not announced any names.
