Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode on November 11, 2017 features Nyoy Volante. He will portray the life story of Joel who is Most Outstanding Teacher of Kabankalan, Negros Occidental. Joel creates an excellent environment in every school he is assign to search for donations and sponsorships among others.

It is a way of helping students and families considered as poorest of the poor. Bad day comes, Joel wife named Faith is diagnosed of broncho-pneumonia and heart enlargement. Joel continues teaching and sharing his life through his music.

In addition, the good news comes, Faith was healed and Joel was hailed as the most outstanding teacher in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental for two straight (2) years.
