Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode on June 17, 2017 features the story of “Ryan Arebuabo” who used to live selling corn using the pedicab to survive his family.

The life story of Ryan Arebuabo was discovered when he was spotted on a fast food restaurant with his two children eating while Ryan was just watching them.

When the video of Ryan was uploaded on social media, some of the netizens became compassionate to him and astonished on how he survives his family without the help of his wife who left him after he was stroke.

The award-winning actor, Piolo Pascual is set to portray the life story of Ryan Arebuabo. In the story, Piolo Pascual portrays as corn-vendor who later suffered stroke that causes him to be paralyzed and his wife left him. In spite of his condition, he remains responsible as a father and husband.

Joining the cast is Isabelle Daza as Rosalyn the wife of Ryan.

The MMK episode featuring Tatay Ryan is directed by Dado Lumibao and set to be aired on Saturday, June 17, 2017 @ 8:30 p.m.
