Heartbreaking Letter of 5-Year-Old Daughter “Polee Buggay” to Her Dad Who Killed During Encounter on Father’s Day

Polee is a 5-year-old daughter of PFC Brian Buggay who died during the encounter on Father’s Day, June 18, 2017, Sunday.

Polee wrote a letter to her Dad saying,

“Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. I love you. Thank you sa pag love ug pagsakripisyo Daddy.

Love, Polee.”

The letter of Polee went along with the heart shape to express Polee’s love her father and she also draws the portrait of father and daughter holding hands together as a symbol of unity.

As to remember, PFC Buggay is a native from Camarines Norte died in answer to the call of duty as the 71st Infantry Batallion immediate response to encounter the New People’s Army at Maco, Compostella Valley.

Bereaved wife of PFC Buggay, Jonna May told reporter that she took pride of the death of her husband in spite of the fact that they’re suffering his lost but at least he died serving the country.

“Kahit namatay po iyong asawa ko, at least alam kong nasa mabuting kalagayan siya, nasa Panginoon. At least nakatulong po siya sa bayan natin,” Jonna May said.

“Iyong asawa ko po is sobrang bait, concerned, charitable, marespeto,” added Jonna May.

According to report, the government will provide financial support to all the soldiers’ of the family who are wounded during the encounter as well as to the family of PFC Buggay.
