Arman Ali Ghodsinia to deliver the valedictory address to over 3,000 graduates during the 106th general commencement exercises of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
As to recall, Arman admitted to himself as he was only a “saling pusa” a local term to describe a kids who are joining games of grown-ups before.
He said that he was with intelligent students that inspire him to push his ambition in life and study extra hard to attain his goal in life.
With all his effort and perseverance in his studies, the “saling pusa” before is now achieving his dreams and finished his course of chosen field in the bachelor’s degree of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBB) with the highest honor as Summa Cum Laude with the average grade of 1.173.
The roots of Marawi City, the city which is now under siege from the control of terrorist for almost a month until now, Arman intends to deliver his valedictory speech to be inspiring and emphasizing the importance of hope, empathy and solidarity amid the chaos in his hometown.
He said he is not a type of man who is vocal; he never used to speak before the crowd but this time, he understand that it’s high time to be heard and to express the message he has in his heart.
