Sen. Franklin Drilon’s Statement on PDAF Case: “Administration Revenge and Black Propaganda”

Blogger

Sen. Franklin Drilon issued official statement to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre denying his involvement on Napoles PDAF Case.

On his two-page official statement published online by DZMM TeleRadyo Twitter page, the Minority Leader reiterated his statement strongly denied his involvement on PDAF scam and calling it revenge and black propaganda targeting alleged suspects including former President Benigno Aquino, former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Senator Sonny Trillanes, detained Senator Leila De Lima and himself.

Here is the content of his 2-page statement:

  • Statement of Senate Minority Leader
  • Franklin M. Drilon on Justice Secretary
  • Vitaliano Aguirre’s latest statement on
  • Napoles/PDAF case

  • I have said this many times before and I will say it again; I vehemently deny any insinuation by the Secretary of Justice that I was involved in any wrongdoing regarding the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF)
  • Any allegation that I misused public funds or that I coursed it through Napoles or any bogus non-government organization at any point is a blatant lie.
  • We would await the copy of the affidavit. We will respond at the proper time and in the proper venue.
  • This is outright black propaganda and political harassment intended to silence the members of the opposition.
  • The intention is obvious from the personalities being linked. Sinu-sino ba ang target ng administrasyon: former President Benigno Aquino, former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Senator Sonny Trillanes, detained Senator Leila De Lima and myself.
  • If this is not revenge, I don’t know what it is.
