Actress Vivian Velez confirmed in a radio interview that Veteran actor Ricardo Vizcarra Michaca or known by a popular name Dick Israel died on Tuesday night, October 11 inside their house.

Velez has told over the ABS-CBN radio DZMM the new from Dick Israel’s son, he was 68.

Vivian Velez has posted the bad news on Facebook by remembering Dick Israel’s wonderful and kind soul that will remain in their hearts forever.  She added, a good heart has stopped beating but a good soul ascended to heaven, RIP Dick Israel.

In a report from PEP, Ara Mina also confirmed that Israel died of cardiac arrest.

Velez also added that the Israel’s wife was also in the hospital and now comatose.  Her condition is believed to be possibly caused serious effect on Israel’s health.

In July, it was reported that a huge fire hit Israel’s house.

Dick Israel suffered stroke in 2010 which made his half body paralyzed and affected his speech.

Israel who plays mostly villain and sidekick roles in many of Filipino movies left a good mark in the entertainment industry, thus making him won the Best Supporting Actor award in 1988 and 1994 in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for the movies Patrolman and Kanto Boy: Anak ni Totoy Guwapo.
