UP Alumni criticized President Duterte on Facebook now threatened to Death

A Netizen has revealed on Facebook an economist and alumna of the University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE) were reportedly threatened because of her criticizing opinion posted online against President Rodrigo Duterte.

Facebook user Nonoy Oplas on Monday, September 19, 2016, posted a disturbing story of his fellow UPSE alumni.   Oplas has unnamed the alumna, has a critical opinion on her posts on a Facebook wall against the rigid and vigorous President Duterte.

Oplas had detailed that last August 20, when his fellow alumna was driving her car with her mother in Holy Spirit Drive, Quezon City, an unidentified man appeared on her side.  The man in his hidden jacket raised his middle finger and started to threaten her by shouting his going to kill her.  After that threat, she stepped on the gas fast and went to UP Diliman and informed all her friends and officemates.  She deactivated her facebook account that same day.

Oplas narrated in the comment section the netizen’s posts and comments with shock and different reactions.  The posts went viral and were shared 276 times as of press time thus frightening the netizens.  He then claims in his comment that Duterte’s “War on Drugs” now being turned into “war on people who don’t like the President.
