Classes suspensions for Thursday, August 11, 2016 due to inclement weather brought by Low Pressure Area (LPA) and Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) that will affects some local government units (LGUs), Luzon, Metro Manila and Visayas areas. PAG-ASA stated as of 3:00 a.m. “Yellow Warning Level: ‪#‎Zambales, ‪#‎Bataan & ‪#‎Batangas. Possible FLOODING in low lying areas.”

  • Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains is affecting ‪#‎MetroManila, ‪#‎Cavite, ‪#‎Laguna, ‪#‎Rizal, ‪#‎Quezon, ‪#‎Bulacan, ‪#‎NuevaEcija, ‪#‎Pampanga and ‪#‎Tarlac which may persist for 2-3 hours.
  • These information are based on current radar trends and all available meteorological data.

Classes Suspension August 11, 2016

“Monsoon rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Bulacan,” PAGASA said.

“Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over the rest of the country,” the weather central added.

Mayor Genevive L. Reyes of Caluya, Antique made an announcement through executive order on Wednesday declaring class suspensions in all levels from August 10 to 12.

Note: Mayor Rex Gatchalian said that classes in all levels will resume tomorrow, August 11, 2016 in Valenzuela City. #MayPasok
