Sarah Duterte, daughter of our President Rodrigo Duterte announced on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Kadayawan Festival in Davao City that she’s pregnant bearing triplets now in her seventh week.

She’s the youngest elected mayor and also the first woman mayor of the city.  She was known to have shaved her hair only to convince her father to run as President in 2016.

During Kadayawan Festival Sara explains her side the reason why she was absent in all public activities and also expressed her thankfulness to those who help and organize the event. She expresses she cannot join the merrymaking activities as she is pregnant and is suffering threefold more than an ordinary pregnancy a woman goes through because the human body can carry only one baby in 9 months.  So on the seventh weeks now the triplets are doing well.

According to Sara’s doctor, she is still allowed to do her job as mayor of the city despite the multiple fatal pregnancy complications she is suffering now. She was also advised to avoid crowded places to avoid the risk of acquiring infections. She assured she can do her job well even if she is physically weak and as long her doctor will allow her.
