A 40- year-old Filipina named Ruby Sigal was fondly called as “baby whisperer” is making way in her career where she works as a babysitter and doing household chores in Metropolitan New York.  She is a native of Iloilo city and she worked before as an event organizer, entrepreneur, floral designer and a certified make-up artist.

Ruby was also the founder and CEO of Beyond Baby Care LLC in New York City and known by many names such as baby care consultant, new parent coach, and newborn care expert.

Her family owns a garden in the Philippines and were florists.  She went to Penn Foster Career Diplomas program to continue her studies but then financial problem come her way.

Her friend introduced her to formal baby nursing while she has already an experienced in her on-call job as a babysitter.  She found the job very exciting and challenging that makes her change her mind and shifted to this career.

In an interview by Inquirer, Sibal decided to make it as her profession because she finds the job very fulfilling and challenging.  She was so excited and accepts the challenge because it requires mostly 24-hour shifts.

Sibal is already a certified newborn care specialist (NCS) and received the Happiest Baby Educator Certificate.
