PRC release a total of 1,639 out of 3,833 passed the Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination and 56 out of 213 passed the X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Radiologic Technology. According to PRC, The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were invalidated as per Board Resolution No. 04 Series of 2016.

Professional Regulatory Board of Radiologic Technology administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Tuguegarao, held last July 4 & 5, 2016.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the July 2016 Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination are the following:

The members of the Board of Radiologic Technology who gave the licensure examinations are Mr. Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Orestes P. Monzon, Mr. Bayani C. San Juan and Ms. Ma. Jesette B. Canales, Members. The results was release on 7 working days after the last day of examination.

Examinees answer the following subjects; Radiologic Physics, Equipment and Maintenance, Radiobiology, Radiation Protection and Quality Assurance (20%), Image Production and Evaluation (20%), Radiographic Procedures and Techniques (20%), Patient Care, Management, Ethics & Jurisprudence, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology (20%), Radiological Sciences (20%).
