Miss Phillippines- Water 2015 Catherine Joy Marin from Bago City, Negros Occidental is the newest champion of the trending noon show called “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on ‘It’s Showtime’, held last June 21, 2016.   Catherine Joy Marin is the newest daily round winner of “Tawag ng Tanghalan”.

Marin who also works as a freelance host, joined the singing competition to follow her passion for music. She impresses the judges and the audience with her rendition of Adele’s hit song “Someone Like You” during elimination round.

The beauty queen from Negros Occidental Catherine Joy Marin defeated one-day defending champion Meliton Talaba with her lovely performance of Beyonce’s hit song ‘Halo’. She received a total score of 91.2 %, while Talaba, who performed “Bulong ng Damdamin”, got the total score of 91 %.
