Trent Harmon is the winner of American Idol Season 15 beating La’Porsha Renae. The 26-year-old singer from Amory, Mississippi, who bought powerhouse performances on American Idol who beats La’Porsha Renae in the public vote.

Before announcing the winner, Ryan Seacrest said: “I’ve done this 14 times and the atmosphere has never been more emotionally charged than it is tonight.”

Last Wednesday, the Top 2 finalists performed three songs each- Simon Fuller’s Choice. Favorite Performance and Winner’s Single. Trent Harmon took home the grand prize and have a recording contract deal with Big Machine.
