On its 30th Annual Issue named the world’s billionaires with SM Investments Corp.’s founder, CEO Henry Sy Sr. topped the list of richest Filipinos.
Sy led the 11 returning Filipinos in the billionaires list this year jump from rank 73 to 71. But this year 2016, Sy dropped from $14.8 billion to $12.9 billion. In second rank of the richest Filipino is JG Summit Holdings’ John Gokongwei Jr. with $5 Billion.

Meanwhile, the richest Filipinos on the list have a combined wealth with a total of $41.50 billion or in peso P1, 961.27 trillion.
