Tamar Davis shows off her powerful vocals in her blind audition version of the soul classic “Chain of Fools” by Aretha Franklin during Blind Auditions of The Voice season 2 (week 2), March 8, 2016. She impresses the audience and viewers of her powerful voice performance.

Adam Levine told Tamar, “Your voice is beautiful”. “You are so interesting to listen to and your range is incredible”, said Pharrell Williams.

She got praises from Christina Aguilera, “It is time for you to step out of the background and give it a shot. It’s time for female to win it’s time for you to win”. While, Blake Shelton say to her, “I loved to work with you and see you win this thing”.

Tamar Davis picked Christina Aguilera as coach of the competition.

Singing since the age of three, Tamar has been within inches of stardom. Growing up, she was part of the girl group Girls Tyme with Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, but left before they formed Destiny’s Child in order to finish school. During her senior year of high school, Tamar performed for President Bill Clinton at the Kennedy Center. She toured with R&B star Tamia after graduating from USC with a degree in music business. In 2006, Tamar wrote a Grammy-nominated song with Prince called “Beautiful, Loved and Blessed,” and she currently stars as Diana Ross in the touring cast of Motown: The Musical. After so much opportunity, Tamar was heavily encouraged to audition for The Voice and she hopes to make her dreams come true.
