The Philippine president Mr. Benigno Aquino Jr. approves the recommendation of the Department of Defense for the declaration of suspension of military Operations (SOMO) fight against the New People’s Army (NPA) for 12 days.

The treaty will begin at 12:01 in December 23 2015 and end at January 3 2016 at exactly 11:59 pm.

The NPA’s 3,000 strong armies said it will also impose a stop of hostilities on the same dates as stated in the truce. The unilineal cease of hostilities will also run in December 23 to January 3, The Rebel chief negotiator Luis Jaladoni in his statement on the rebels’ official website at www.ndfp.org.

“This ceasefire order is being issued in solidarity with the Filipino people’s traditional celebrations of Christmas and New Year holidays,” he said. Luis Jalondoni, a former catholic priest who is based in the Netherlands.

He also said that the treaty would also allow the 47th anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines, which has been protracted by Gurrilla Warfare for 45b year with the mission to over thrown the Government.

They are also demanding for the government to free all the politic prisoners which also includes the 17 gurrillas whoa are also part in the peace negotiations.
