Top Trending topics in Sports! The “Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire won the NABF Super Bantamweight title in just 2 rounds against Brazilian William Prado in the co-featured bout of Pinoy Pride 30 last Saturday, March 28, 2015, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Donaire made an impressive comeback inside the ring after he loses last year’s fight, he just showcased his trademark left hook, with series of punches receiving by Prado defenseless which was the referee Bruce McTavish stop the fight even without declared a knockdown.

In the second round, Donaire (34-3, 21 knockouts) take more punches at the 2:16 that Prado left eye with a bloody mess. The 32-year-old boxing star from Bohol ‘Nonito Donaire’ say sorry for last year’s fight as he suffered a sixth-round technical knockout with Jamaican Nicholas Walters.

After the fight with Prado, Donaire said that “This win is for every Filipino” addressing the crowd inside the ring.

Aside from Donaire winning, Donnie Nietes also won against Gilberto Parra at the 8th round of their championship fight. Nietes is still the WBO Champion.
