Watch! Cebu Dancing Inmates Welcomes Pope Francis With a Dance Performance -Viral Video

People of the Philippines are doing different manner of welcoming the Catholic Church Leader during his visit in the country on January 15-18, 2015. Most of the Catholic members in the country especially those people in the places where the Pontiff intend to visit were trying to showcase their best in different sort of presentation to express how they welcome Pope Francis in the country.

Dancing inmatesIn the Queen City of the South, the group of dancing inmates with more than 2,200 participants from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) showcases their talent in a sort of dancing performance to welcome the Pope. Although these inmates knew that Pope Francis will not come to city of Cebu but they still give him tribute with their patented dancing performance choreographed by Vince Rosales.

Unlike previous performances such as “This is It” by Michael Jackson and “Gangnam Style” popularized by Korean YouTube singing sensation Psy, where this group of dancing inmate became popular, the “Pope Dance” as local folks are calling it, is quite solemn and serious dance presentation  dedicated to the Pope during his visit in the country. The dancing inmates started with a Gregorian chant as performers took their respective places while the official theme song “We Are All God’s Children,” is playing.
