Updated Bagyong Ruby “Hagupit” Intensifies More & Roughly Alerted 21 Areas From Signal No.1 to 4

PAG-ASA already released the name of 21 areas that is possibly affected by the super typhoon “Ruby” with the international name “Hagupit” which intensifies further as it takes the path near to the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this Thursday.

HagupitAccording to US Navy’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) the said typhoon is classified to a super typhoon or equivalent to Category 5 Hurricane, which has the maximum sustain wind up to 205 KPH and a gust of 240 Kph almost strong as the Category 5 Super typhoon Yolanda.

“Ruby” will be expected to grow stronger because it is still on the seas,

People on this area must take heed as PAG-ASA alerted them on Signal no.2 wherein it has the capacity to take down big trees and destroy homes with low foundations. Its sustain winds is up to 60-100 kph.

Ruby is moving west northwest direction with a speed of 15kph and will expected to landfall on Samar this Saturday afternoon.

The question is the government ready to face this challenge once again, according to President Benigno Aquino III he already debrief his PAG-ASA officer in charge Dr. Vicente Malano and prepared all the checklist needed to be ready to the storm.

Areas under Red Alert of Severe Weather Condition are the following places Aklan, Albay, Antique, Biliran, Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, Marinduque, Masbate, Northern Samar, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Quezon, Romblon, and Sorsogon.

Areas under orange alert(which called for all around preparendness which the affected areas must prepared for the anticipated weather conditions  are Batangas, Bohol, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Cavite, Guimaras, Laguna, Metro Manila, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Southern Leyte, Surigao del Norte, and Rizal.

Areas under yellow alert (Be Aware) to make preventive measure to protect their family and properties  are Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Camiguin, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Surigao del Sur, Tarlac, and Zambales.
