Pope Francis Visits Itinerary in Philippines & Complete Schedules on January 15-19, 2015

Pope Francis will visit in the Philippines this coming January 2015 and it has been already released the official Schedules and itineraries by Archdiocese of Manila last Friday, November 14, 2014. Popo Francis is a head of the Roman Catholic Church worldwide this coming January 15-19, 2015 following his visit to Sri Lanka.

The Catholic Bishop’s Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President and Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas releases the official statement to media, “Today our official joy begins… Pope Francis is bringing the joy of the Gospel personally, to us, on the five special days in January that we have officially announced, he said.

“When Pope Francis comes, he will show us the face of God. When the Pope sees us Filipinos, may he see the living God in us,” the Archbishop Villegas statement added.

 

Here’s the Complete Schedules and Itineraries of Pope Francis:

January 15, 2014: Pope Francis arrival at Villamor Airbase at around 5:45 PM,

The official welcome rites will be held.

January 16, 2014: Welcome Ceremony at Malacañang Palace where the Pope will pay a courtesy call on President Aquino. (Around 9:00 am)

Pope’s meeting with the authorities and the diplomatic corps at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall of Malacañang. (Around 10.15 am)
Pope will deliver the homily during a Mass with the bishops, priests, men and women of the religious community at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.( At 11:15 a.m.)
Meeting with the families at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.( At 5:30 PM)

January 17, 2015: The Pope will visit Tacloban where he will hold a Mass at the Tacloban International Airport at around 10:00 AM.

At 12:45 PM – Meeting with Yolanda survivors at the Archbishop’s Reside in Palo, Leyte.

3:00 PM – blessing of the Pope Francis Center for the Poor.

3:30 PM – Meeting with priests, women and men of the religious community, seminarians and families of the survivors at the Cathedral before the Pope departs for Manila.

January 18, 2014: Pope Francis brief meeting with religious leaders at the UST at 9:45 AM.

At 10:30 PM – Meeting with the youth at the UST sports field.

3:30 PM – Holy Mass by Pope Francis at the Rizal Park in Manila.

January 19, 2014: Pope Francis will leave for Rome at 10:00 AM, after a departure ceremony at the Presidential Pavilion of Villamor Airbase in Pasay City.
