Glamour model Alyzza Agustin has made a round on social media following her claimed that she was let go by the traffic enforcers despite of her violation against the number-coding scheme in the city. According to her she was let go because of the alleged Ignacio’s business card she showed to the traffic enforcers.

AlyzzaThe model claimed that she acquired the business card from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Director for Plans Chief Superintendent Alexander Ignacio. The business card had the words “PLS ASSIST MY EA, ALYZZA AGUSTIN,” and allegedly bore Ignacio’s signature.

Agustin took to her Facebook account on Tuesday night, September 30, 2014 to issue letter of apology saying: “I would like to apologize to everyone who was affected and offended by my post, fellow motorists, Director (sic) Alexander C. Ignacio and his family and the PNP Institution as a whole. I was just overwhelmed by that moment because I was caught in traffic for hours coming from work.”

After posting of the said letter of apology on the wall of Agustin’s Facebook account, it was then flooded with negative comments from the netizens. Some of the comments have expressed their sentiment saying “unfair” practice of the government officials. The said post was then deleted by the user, but it was already spreads on social media.

Agustin also clarified on her letter of apology that she does not personally know PNP Chief Alexander C. Ignacio.

“I mean no harm to anyone and just like any Filipino motorist, would like a little convenience on the road. Naniniwala po ako ang bawat isa sa atin ay may pag kukulang din naman sa daan. Pasensya na po sa aking pagkakamali.”

Prior to her post highlighting the letter of apology, Agustin posted on her Facebook account narrating how the incident took place.

“Nahuli nanaman ako dahil coding but because of you, Boss Alex, wala ng huli huli. Thank you so much sa napaka useful mong card with matching dedication pa #happykid,” Agustin said.

However, in a separate report, PNP Chief Alexander C. Ignacio issued official statement denying the allegation that he and glamour model have a personal ties. Ignacio also said that the alleged business card presented by Agustin to the traffic officers was fake and it was not the official card coming from his office.

“First of all, I categorically deny that I personally know Alyzza Agustin, who claimed that she used my business card to avoid getting a traffic citation,” Ignacio said in a statement.

“I am a Chief Superintendent (1 star rank) and not a director (2 stars),” he noted.

He also added and clarified the issue that Agustin is not his executive assistant, knowing first that there is no such position in his office.
