Watch: “Emirates Airbus A380” World’s Largest Passenger Plane lands at NAIA

President Aquino will welcome the Emirates Airbus A380 that is known as the biggest passenger aircraft that will land on the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.  According to Zen Hernandez the Emirates will land 10:00 PM on the NAIA airport terminal 3, and she added that according to DOTC terminal 3 is already done renovated and it is now on its full operation and she mentioned that the airport can accept 12 million passengers on a yearly.

Zen Hernandez stated that Airbus A380 has the capacity to carry more than 500 passengers unlike the other normal passenger aircraft that can carry only more than 400 passengers.

Migs Sagcal the spokesperson of DOTC stated that “We can handle these kinds of airplanes in our airport”.

But in behalf of this, One website in United States which is (Wallstcheatsheet.com) they labeled Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) as the ‘’10 World’s worst airport’’.

According to the websites article, the primary complaints of some passengers are that the airport has old facilities, having a rude staff, long lines, and a chaotic environment.

But the DOTC cleared that it is the NAIA terminal 1 that is always been mentioned and complained in some websites and they also admit that some of their facilities are old and it is now undergoing on a rehabilitation.

Migs Sagcal says that, ‘’ they should first make sure when saying that we have a worst airport on the list. It is not just the terminal 1 that we always look after and We all know that the terminal 1 is old enough and when the improvement works will be done that’s the time we add more facilities like chairs and air conditioners, ‘’

The rehabilitation and improvements of terminal 1 is expected to be done on March 2015.
