The latest composition of pop-rock singer-songwriter and actress Yeng Constantino titled “Ikaw” has described the meaning and importance of her love life as she finally found out the perfect lifetime partner fiancé Victor Asuncion.

Constantino’s music video of nearly 5-minute long was premiered on music channel MYX last month of August 2014 which video of the 26-year-old former title holder of the “Grand Star Dreamer” of Pinoy Dream Academy went viral on YouTube garnered more than 1-million views.

The music video was shot when the couple went for a trip to Batanes, Palawan and Singapore together with some crews headed by director Cristhian Escolano who was in-charged for their activities. The couple agreed to film when they came to a scenic location but unknown to the celebrity couple that Escolano had a camera to capture their candid moments even during their break time.

When Escolano revealed the video to them to let them watch what was recorded, but unknown to them, the two became emotional and begun to tears.

Constantino admitted that when they first watched the video they really feel it and they cannot hold their emotions to tears.

“Noong unang beses namin pinanood, umiyak din talaga kami ni Yan (Asuncion),”Parang seeing us… ‘Love, gano’n pala talaga kasaya tayo tingnan from outside.’ Kumbaga, kung hindi ako at ikaw ‘yan, pag tinitingnan natin sila, parang, ‘Wow, ang saya-saya naman nila na couple,'” she explained.

When the video was uploaded online by the Star Record, the netizens have noticed Constantino she was really emotional but her lips movement was also noticeably showing poor lip-synching while she was singing before the eyes of her boyfriend.

However, the singer/songwriter explained the reason why she was emotional because she really felt the message of the lyrics knowing how it was composed and come to its reality.

“Kaya ako naiyak doon sa bandang dulo, kasi kinakanta ko na ‘yung lyrics, kasi ako sumulat nung kanta, eh.”

“Actually, noong ni-record namin ‘yon sa studio, hindi ko talaga siya makanta. Four times naming hindi na-try, umiiyak lang talaga ako. Nandoon pa si Yan sa studio. Sabi niya, ‘Hala, bakit ka umiiyak?’ ‘Sorry, hindi ko talaga makanta, hindi ko ma-express into words kung ano na-pi-feel ko about it.'”

“Tapos iyon, kaya nung kinakanta na ‘yon sa Singapore sa shoot namin, naiyak p arin ako, kahit pinipigilan ko na. I’m really happy na nakilala ko si Yan, na siya ‘yung pakakasalan ko, kasi ang bait-bait niya talaga. Napaka-blessed ko talaga,” she said.
