Basketball superstar James Yap revealed that aside from his son with actress Kris Aquino, James “Bimby” Yap Jr. he has another older son from his former girlfriend.

In an interview with “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday, July 3, 2014 the 32-year-old two-time Most Valuable Player revealed that he and his first time girlfriend had a child which is older than his son with Kris Aquino.

“Actually, gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa ex-girlfriend ko na talagang kung ano man pinagdaanan ko, hindi siya nakisawsaw, hindi sya nakialam o siniraan ako,” he told broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna.

During the interview, James Yap shared that he is happy now because of his improving relationship with his ex-wife Kris Aquino and son Bimby. He also shared his future plan of becoming a coach after quitting from his professional basketball career. Because according to him that is one of his dream in life that he wanted to fulfill and help young players by teaching them the rudiments of the game.

“Gusto kong mag-coach sa high school para sa mga bata. Para ma-share ko kung ano ‘yong experience ko, ‘di ba? Iba pa ‘yong feeling ‘pag nakatulong ka sa mga bata tapos makikita mo na lang silang nasa PBA,” “Big Game James” said.
