Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna gives out official statement regarding her ties with the politician who is now currently in jail whom she mentioned during her previous interview about the certain politician. According to the news report with ABS-CBN during a press conference announcing the extension of “Moon of Desire,” where Adarna was a co-star with Meg Imperial and JC de Vera. The 26-year-old actress got candid on the issue when she was asked about her previous statement, she said: “He’s in jail!” Adarna said.

During an exclusive interview, Adarna explained the circumstances how the politician’s name was brought up.

She recalled one time, DJ Mo Twister, in a certain episode of “Forbidden Questions” sometime in September 2013. In a podcast, DJ Mo Twister was asking her whether there were instances when politicians contacted her through text message. It was noticeably that during the interview of DJ Mo Twister, the only politician mentioned by the actress was Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr., who is currently detained at the Philippine National Police headquarters in connection with the multibillion-peso pork barrel scam.

Adarna clarifies saying: “Let me make that clear. Wala, hindi siya nanligaw! Walang ligaw na naganap. Mo asked me if may mga politicians na nag-te-text o nag-mu-moves. Nag-text lang! Once! ‘Yun lang ‘yon. But nothing, ‘Can we meet up somewhere?’ Walang gano’n.”

Adarna also explained that they worked together before in a movie where they co-starred and get acquainted each other.

“Because that time, we did ‘Enteng.’ So we worked together that time,” Adarna said.

It can be remembered in the year 2010; Adarna portrayed an “engkantada” in a fantasy-action film “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote,” which featured the team-up of Adarna and Revilla together with comedian actor Vic Sotto.

“And then when we texted, parang, ‘Weh?’ Ginagano’n ko lang siya. Parang binabara ko lang siya minsan. And then when he texted me… I forgot, eh. I forgot the message. Once lang ‘yon, and then it never happened again,” she said.

The actress also clarifies that the text message she received from the politician was just a friendly text and she said “It’s no weird.” When asked if there is reason behind, the actress said: “That, I don’t know. I don’t want to say anything,” added Adarna.

When the actress was quizzed if she can pay visit the politician whose name was not directly mentioned by her, she appeared evasive during interview on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, she said: “Visit? Hindi kami ganoon ka-close! I don’t know, but… Ewan ko. I don’t want to say anything about that. Maraming nang ano… Maraming matatamaan,” Adarna said, laughing.
