Mae Subong a daughter of Comedian/Actress Pokwang was not yet ready to join in a show business but she wants to finish her studies first. “Ayaw [kong mag-showbiz] gusto ko munang makatapos mag–aral. ‘Yun din ‘yung gusto ng mom ko na makapag-aral muna ako,” Mae said, according to Push.com
Mae has a first priority in studies while joining show business because she remark on her mind that education is very important and a vital on her. “Sobrang importante kasi ‘yun na lang ‘yung hindi mawawala sa akin eh kumbaga paglaki ko ‘yun na talaga ‘yung kailangan ko talaga sa lahat ng bagay,” she said on the reporter.
Mae was currently taking up Culinary Arts in University of St. la Salle. She is willing to do some commercials, “Napag-usapan namin ng mom ko yan so okay naman sa kanya at okay din naman sa akin,” subong stated.
After Pokwang’s present movie “My Illegal Wife” have earned 55 million on Philippine Box Office, “Sobrang proud ako sa kanya na may ganito siyang movie ulit tapos feeling ko magiging successful ‘tong movie na ‘to.” Mae proudly tells to the reporters of Push.com.
She has a inspiration message on her Mom Pokwang, “I love you and I know you will do well and I know lahat na ginawa mo ng maayos ang movie na ‘to so ‘yun lang thankful ako na may project kang ganito so sana more to come tapos yun lang,” she hopes that there is more project to come and blessing on her mother.
Mae will be celebrating her 18 debut birthday with Actor Enrique Gil as one of 18th rose’s entourage. She admits that Enrique Gil is one of her ultimate crush in show business industry.
