Rocky Loreto Rosabal Won 1st Runner Up at the Voice of McDonald -Video

Rocky Loreto Rosabal won first runner-up in the “Voice of McDonald (VOM) singing competition held in Florida and took home $17,500 as first runner up prize.

During the grand finale, Rosabal sang the popular song of Journey “Faithfully” that impressed audience and judges but unfortunately, he loses the grand prize to Lucial Ospitia of McDonald’s Colombia and took home the grand prize worth $25,000.

Rocky Loreto RosabalRosabal took his Facebook account and expressed his happiness and thanks those who have supported him and believe to win in the competition.

“I would like to say thank you sa lahat po ng sumoporta at sa lahat po ng naniwala sa akin. Maraming salamat po friends, family and kababayan. Maraming salamat po! Proud to be Pinoy!” Rosabal wrote on his Facebook page.

Rosabal work in one of the McDonald’s Outlets in Philippines in particular town of Cagayan de Oro as a service crew. He is one among the 58,000 aspirants from 63 countries hoping to make a name by joining the global singing competition.

Rosabal, admitted that he started in a very humble beginnings.

By winning the competition, Rosabal would like to inspire others who have dreams and believe themselves to reach and make their dreams come true. During the interview after the competition he said: “A simple guy who dreamed big. Now my dream is becoming real: To be a professional performer not just in my country, but globally,” he said.

Aside from the 1st prize worth $17,500, Rosabal received additional prize of $5,000 cash for being the Fan Favorite during the competition.

Some other winner during the competition include Ashlae Nelms of McDonald’s Illinois, USA as second runner up, while Patrick Reis of McDonald’s Switzerland was named as third runner up.
