Celebrity website Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) held the “1st PEP List Awards” to recognize the achievements of the most noteworthy stars of the year who were chosen by both its readers dubbed “Pepsters” and editorial staff who regularly cover the entertainment industry on Tuesday night, May 20, 2014 at Solaire Resort & Casino.
The said event were presented by the PEP and its sponsor SM Parisian.
During the said event, TV5 stars shone bright as they received their awards. The names of Kapatid stars Ms. Nora Aunor and Joey de Leon were mentioned to receive the same Pepsters’ Choice awards for Showbiz Treasure for the Male and Female category.
One of the Boys who received the awards have delivered the most hilarious and unforgettable acceptance speech during the event, “Wow Mali Pa Rin” host Joey de Leon said: ““Ngayong mga panahong ito, maaraming nagde-deny na part sila ng list. Pero ako, I am proud to be part of this list PEP List. Merong Napo-list, meron ding namang na-PEP List. Hindi sana ako pupunta, e, dahil akala ko ito ang project ni Vicki Belo na PEP: p-u-*-*y enhancement procedure,” cracked the comedian.
In addition to his speech, de Leon turned to one of Belo’s v-g*nal tightening procedure endorser Ai-Ai delas Alas who hosted the event together with Lucy Torres-Gomez of “Celebrity Dance Battle”, Joey said, “Bakit ka natawa, Ai-Ai? Eh Ikaw ang unang nabiktima nun.”
At the end of his speech, de Leon added further saying: “May banat si Allan K, dapat siya raw ang Nosemaker of the Year!”.
Aside from Joey, other winners who have accepted their awards are the following: Marian Rivera (Editors’ Choice TV Star of the Year Female), Judy Ann Santos (PEP Reporters’ Choice), Dingdong Dantes (Thumbs Up! awardee), Kim Chiu (Pepsters’ Choice TV Star of the Year Female and Pepsters’ Choice Newmaker of the Year Female), Xian Lim (Pepsters’ Choice Fab Star Male), Lovi Poe (Pepsters’ Choice Fab Star Female), Ryzza Mae Dizon (Pepsters’ Choice and Editors’ Choice Child Star winner) Dennis Trillo (Pepsters’ Choice Celebrity Pair of the Year) and Tom Rodriguez (Pepsters’ Choice and Editors’ Choice Breakout Star of the Year).
Pepsters’ Choice and Editors’ ChoiceTV Star of the Year Male awardee “Bossing” Vic Sotto accepted his award in a pre-recorded video message.
