The comedian actor Vhong Navrro who became a victim of mauling incident in the condo unit of Forbeswood Heights on January 22, 2014 is seeking forgiveness from his girlfriend of six years, Tanya Bautista.

In an interview with “Buzz ng Bayan” Navarro told Boy Abunda, the host of the ABS-CBN talk show, that he asked forgiveness from his girlfriend Tanya Bautista for his “unfaithfulness” following the incident that happened between him and the controversial model Deniece Cornejo.

He also revealed that besides from asking forgiveness from his girlfriend Bautista, he also tried his best to reach out his partner’s family to say sorry.

Lagi ko namang tinanong [kung mahal pa niya ako]. Nung mga unang tinatanong ko siya, hindi magsasabi. Naiintindihan ko po ‘yun. Kinausap ko din po ‘yung mommy niya at mga kapatid niya. Humingi din po ako ng tawad sa kanila. Nakakatuwa din po na pinagbibigyan po nila ako, parang second chance,” he said.

The 37-year-old comedian actor and TV host admitted that he is very fortunate of having someone like Bautista who still thought about him before considering her own feelings; the actor was referring to his mistakes in their relationships.

“Ito yung pinaka-napaka down sa buhay ko na pinagdaanan pero until now nandiyan pa rin siya. Talagang dapat siguro hindi na maulit. Hinding hindi na mauulit na may gawin pa akong ganun ulit. Dapat maging faithful ako talaga,” he said.

Navarro admitted that the incident was the toughest trials in his life that also becomes the hardest test in their relationship. But he also said that his relationship with Bautista becomes stronger than before.

“Sabi ko huwag na muna niya akong iwan sa mga panahong ito kahit alam kong masakit para sa kanya. Sabi niya kasi ‘Sa ngayon, ang iintindihin ko muna ikaw. Huwag muna ako.’ Kaya in-admit ko ‘yung kasalanan ko sa kanya dahil totoo naman po na nagkasala ako sa kanya,” he said.

“Paiba-iba pa siya ng isip. Naguguluhan pa siya. Pero right now, mas lalong lumalalim ang aming pagsasama at pagmamahalan. Mas naiisip niya na mahal pa rin niya ako kahit sa nagawa kong ito sa kanya,” he added.

The most important things that he was very thankful were Baustista granted him a second chance, he said.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin sa kanya na paulit-ulit, I’m really really sorry. I’m really really sorry and maraming maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ulit ng pangalawang pagkakataon, sa sobrang pagmamahal at pag-aalaga niya sa akin. Salamat at mahal na mahal ko siya,” he said.

Aside from asking forgiveness to his girlfriend and her family, he also confronted his sons to explain to them and admitted mistakes in their relationships.

The emotional actor was so happy because he was blessed that in spite of situations his sons understand him.

“Gusto ko din humingi ng sorry kasi sa mga panahong ito, alam ko gusto nilang mamasyal, sama sama kaming mag-iikot. Pero salamat kasi mas nananaig ngayon ‘yung pag-iintindi sa akin na dapat ako yung umiintindi sa kanila. Salamat kasi naniniwala sila sa akin. Salamat na nagtitiwala sila sa akin,” he said.
