According to InterAksyon Entertainment Korina Sanchez officially vacate and leaves the radio talk show where Miss Korina condemned the reporting effort of the American CNN anchor Anderson Cooper covering the aftermath of super typhoon Yolanda that devastated most Western Visayas particularly Tacloban City.

In recent time on November 13, 2013, after five days from the catastrophe brought by typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban, DZMM radio anchor Korina Sanchez in her radio program ‘Rated Korina’ criticized CNN anchor Anderson Cooper by saying…

“Itong si Anderson Cooper, sabi wala daw government presence sa Tacloban. Mukhang hindi niya alam ang sinasabi niya. (This Anderson Cooper, he said there is no government presence in Tacloban. It seems he doesn’t know what he is saying.),” said Sanchez, the wife of Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.

Her statement against Anderson became a controversial issue especially in social media while Anderson was praised of his heroic act.

Amidst the controversial issue Miss Korina Sanchez made a long absence from her official duty which is also believed that she was suspended by the ABS-CBN but there was no official statement on her absence from her radio show.

Miss Korina Sanchez denies the suspension rumors saying she was on a long vacation leave and then return to ‘Rated Korina’ early in December without any explanation about her long absence.
