British actress Kate Winslet has given birth to a baby boy at NHS hospital in Sussex, England on Saturday, December 7, 2013. The baby boy is her first child to her third husband, Ned Rocknroll.

The 38-year-old actress has a 9-year-old son, named Joe with her ex-husband Sam Medes, and one another 13-year-old daughter, named Mia to her first ex-husband, Jim Threapleton.

The spokesperson of the British actress reported to the MailOnline website saying, “”Kate had ‘Baby Boy Winslet’ on Saturday, December 7, at an NHS Hospital. Mother and Baby are doing great.”

The report was also confirmed by a source which is closed to the couple told to the New York Post’s Page Six that their baby boy weight 9-pounds.

The Labor Day star was glad to reveal during her pregnancy that she enjoyed it more than the previous two.

Kate explained that having experienced in taking care of herself during the pregnancy period she could able to manage to be more active and healthier compare before.

“I think that between 27 and 37 was a big learning decade”, she said.

She added that she learned a lot of experienced before during pregnancy up to giving birth that it was a bit tired and a bit sick but nothing major.

The Oscar-winner noted that she is not sure to extend the break from her career when the child is born.

The couple, Kate and Ned, who is billionaire through Richard Branson’s nephew, got married in a secret wedding in the city of New York sometime in December 2012 in which there are only 12 friends invited to witness the ceremony. Among the 12-friend is Titanic actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who has given the bride away. The couple’s families were not aware of the wedding that took place in a converted barn.
